In September 2004, We, The World inaugurated the international promotion of peace and sustainability with over 120 cities participating throughout the world! Honorary Co-Chairs of the organization included Jane Goodall, Deepak Chopra, Irene Khan, Marianne Williamson, and many more.

11 Days includes festivals, concerts, webcasts, and other events culminating on Sept. 21st -- the International Day of Peace.

Events associated with 11 Days combine compelling speakers, engaging artistic presentations and consciousness-raising themes in line with We, The World's mission to inspire, inform and involve the public in visionary solutions that create cultures of peace and environmental well-being.

Interdependence Day celebrates the interconnectedness of all life and the recognition of that interconnectedness.

We, The World which launched Interdependence Day in September 2002 at the World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg.

Each year Interdependence Day is a day of celebration, information and action to raise consciousness about how each of our actions affects the whole.
